Submission Guidelines
The House by the Sea Journal accepts submissions of fiction, poetry, essays, interviews, and artwork. Submissions should be sent to [email protected]. Please include a cover letter with your submission. The cover letter should include your name, contact information, and a brief description of your submission.
Fiction and poetry submissions should be no more than 5,000 words. Essay submissions should be no more than 3,000 words. Interview submissions should be no more than 2,000 words. Artwork submissions should be no larger than 10MB. Please submit artwork in JPEG or PNG format.
The House by the Sea Journal does not accept simultaneous submissions. Please do not submit work that has been previously published. The journal does not pay contributors. All submissions are read by the journal's editors. Please allow up to three months for a response.
