Plot
The film opens with a diamond heist being carried out by four thieves: Wanda Gershwitz (Jamie Lee Curtis),Otto West (Kevin Kline),George Thomason (Tom Georgeson),and Ken Pile (Michael Palin). The heist is successful, but Wanda double-crosses her accomplices and escapes with the diamonds.
The rest of the film follows the four thieves as they try to recover the stolen diamonds. Wanda, who is now hiding out in London, is being pursued by Ken, who is determined to get his share of the loot. Otto, who is a flamboyant and eccentric con man, is also on the hunt for Wanda, but he is more interested in finding the diamonds than in getting revenge.
