But one day, in the darkest of nights, A miracle occurred, A voice from the shadows whispered, "Sing, my boy, sing!"
And so, the boy began to sing, His voice soaring through the darkness, A beacon of hope in a world of despair.
But his song was not to be heard, For the authorities were watching, And they would not allow such freedom.
And so, the boy was taken away, His voice forever silenced.
But his song lived on, In the hearts of those who had heard it, And it became a symbol of hope, In a world where dreams were forbidden.
Act 1
Scene 1
A dark and gloomy prison cell. The boy is sitting on the floor, his head in his hands.
Boy: (Singing) I am a prisoner of my own mind, My voice is forever silenced, But my spirit will never die.
A guard enters the cell.
Guard: Time's up. You're going to the execution chamber.
Boy: (Singing) I will not go quietly, I will sing until my last breath, For my voice is a symbol of hope, In a world where dreams are forbidden.
The guard drags the boy out of the cell.
Scene 2
The execution chamber. The boy is standing on the gallows, a noose around his neck.
Boy: (Singing) I am not afraid to die, For my voice will live on, In the hearts of those who have heard it, And it will be a symbol of hope, In a world where dreams are forbidden.
The executioner pulls the lever and the boy is hanged.
Act 2
Scene 1
A small village square. A group of people are gathered around a bonfire, singing the boy's song.
People: (Singing) We will never forget your voice, It is a symbol of hope, In a world where dreams are forbidden.
A young girl steps forward and begins to sing a new song.
Girl: (Singing) We will not let your dream die, We will sing your song, Until the world hears it, And it becomes a symbol of hope, For all who dare to dream.
The people join in, singing the girl's song.
People: (Singing) We will not let your dream die, We will sing your song, Until the world hears it, And it becomes a symbol of hope, For all who dare to dream.
Epilogue
The boy's song spread far and wide, Inspiring people all over the world, To dream, to sing, And to never give up hope.
And so, the boy's voice lived on, In the hearts of those who had heard it, And it became a symbol of hope, In a world where dreams were forbidden.
