Tecumseh and Brock: The War of 1812
The War of 1812 was a conflict between the United States and Great Britain that lasted from 1812 to 1815. Tecumseh

Isaac Brock was born in 1769 in Guernsey, Channel Islands. He joined the British Army in 1791, and he served in the West Indies and Canada. Brock was a skilled military leader, and he quickly rose to the rank of general.
In 1811, Brock was appointed commander of the British forces in Canada. When the War of 1812 broke out, Brock led the British to a number of victories. He captured Detroit in 1812, and he defeated the Americans at the Battle of Queenston Heights in 1812. However, Brock was killed in the Battle of Queenston Heights, and his death was a major blow to the British.
